Great post, and thanks for promoting the flash mob for this afternoon. I'd say that a 92% cut isn't what someone does for punishment, as punishment entails a continued relationship. The 92% cut is a campaign of elimination with enough dressing to pretend that it wasn't their heart's desire to turn all manner of public expression into private property.

Thanks for this Simon. Keep gushing about shows that you like. Theatre in Vancouver needs more fans (and artists) like you. Stay in it forever, keep writing and producing and please, please keep blogging.

A beautiful compelling photo Marci...those wise old soul eyes, along with an eloquent, intriguing, and insightful interview...a pleasure to read! *smile* Reading this interview, your passion for your craft is palpable, and I see "Everything" as you do, in store for you in the future, with your spark of heartfelt conviction. I stumbled upon your page here, from your post to a friend's FB page and am glad I did. I unfortunately did not see "The Miracle Worker", and wonder if you have a website listing your next artistic project in Vancouver, with dates? If so, I would love to know of it. Happy to hear you have architecture and urban planning as your side foundations...and I do hope the theatre scene opens up for you, welcoming your gift with open arms in future. I would love to see your next performance. I too, am a huge fan of Meryl Streep, and can't count the times I have watched "Out of Africa" in bliss. *smile* Cheers, and wishing you all the very best Vancouver has to offer Marci, Vancouver needs to hear and see you...and I will look for you in FB.
